We'd like to thank our Major Sponsor, Casella Wines, for their ongoing support for Racing on the Tweed. You can sample a range of their great Australian products from our on-course facilities.

If you would like to be a Sponsor, we'd be happy to sit down and work out a package with you, it's a great way to promote your business and entertain Clients and Staff on the day.

The cost of sponsoring a race day is dependent on the number of races on that particular day and whether the race day is a week day, usually a Monday or a weekend, usually a Sunday. 


Chairman of TRJC, Bernie Quinn will be happy to negotiate this aspect with any interested sponsor according to the prize money the TRJC needs to pay, an amount which is mandated by Racing NSW. 

As a “ball-park” figure, for an eight race program, it would be about $5,000 plus GST.

In return for this sponsorship the Tweed River Jockey Club would provide:


  • a feature race trophy
  • finger-food lunch for your guests in a marquee set up on the lawns (value to be negotiated)
  • liquid refreshments from our range of Fosters and Casella Wine products (value to be negotiated)
  • permission to erect signage and conduct promotion on course
  • promotion of your Company/Business through our advertising of the race meeting on Radio TAB in Brisbane, Radio 97, FM 104.1, 2KY, 2SM and NBN Television from Coffs Harbour to the Gold Coast, Tweed Daily News, Gold Coast Bulletin and Tweed Sun, the Northern Star in Lismore and major metropolitan newspapers
  • the opportunity to advertise in the race book on the day as well as being able to display advertising near the saddling enclosure which would receive exposure via Sky Channel nationally and possibly internationally
  • the right for you to name individual races according to your requirements
  • free entry and race books for your guests.

This meeting will receive exposure in major metropolitan newspapers and on Sky Channel on race day.

The Tweed River Jockey Club would also be prepared to discuss anything else that could be of assistance in making this day a success for both parties.
